“The series of ‘Exaggerations’ attempts to contrast the digital and analog world. On first glance, the images appear to be digitally manipulated, with overly saturated, unnatural colors interrupting the natural green spaces. Each piece of colored foliage is physically hand painted and remains digitally untouched. Alternatively, the natural green color, making up the majority of the landscapes, is digitally altered and unified, ultimately creating images that contradict the viewer’s first instinct.”
